Background Information
Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Couchot manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions. Dr. Couchot practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort.
Our staff is trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) sedation and outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.
Administrative & Surgical Staff
The administrative personnel are well versed in health and insurance policies. The surgical team is dedicated to providing you with the highest degree of professional care possible. The well-being of our patients is our primary focus. The surgical staff are experienced oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who are either trained surgical technicians (CST/ORT) or completed DAANCE (Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Examination). All staff are CPR certified. We also have a trained registered nurse (RN).
